Completely re-engineered from the wheels up, the FE Model is the most forward-thinking medium duty commercial truck ever. Its cab isn't just beautiful, it offers more head, leg, knee and elbow room. Its dash-mounted shifter and available Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission are both industry firsts. The steering wheel tilts and telescopes. The driver's seat offers more adjustment.
The doors feature swing-forward hinges that open just 70° but feel like 90° to offer wider and safer entry/exit. Entry steps are covered and grated. There are more convenience features too, including plenty of cup holders, a fold-down workstation, added storage areas for cell phones, coins, maps and toll receipts. Dual-caliper disc brakes with ABS are standard. New halogen headlamps and aerodynamic side mirrors offer improved visibility. And the FE's rugged, ladder-style frame has improved to make body mounting easier.
